When logging in with the ExoInsight Alteryx Connector for Essbase, an error message appears that says "Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server at servername."
This error can be caused by one of the following reasons
- The Essbase environment referenced by the selected ExoInsight environment name is down
- The Essbase environment defined in the ExoInsight environment name is incorrectly set up in ExoInsight
- There is a network communication issue between the ExoInsight server and the Essbase environment
First make sure the Essbase environment referenced by the ExoInsight environment name is up and running. If it is, ensure that the connection information defined for that environment name is set up properly in ExoInsight. Finally, attempt to access the environment via the Essbase Query Builder page from the ExoInsight server to ensure connectivity between the ExoInsight server and the Essbase server.
